Retooling life for part 2

Glimmers of Rain

It makes sense that glimmers are something fleeting and flashy while triggers … well, a gun comes to mind. So I would think the glimmers have to be pretty special to carry as much weight. I suppose both things are continuua, the severity, the soothiness, triggers antonymic to glimmers.

Still love the idea, accentuate the positive. Rain is a biggie for me even while it embraces a certain cozy melancholia, it is grounding and nourishing. The sound, the sog of it all, even escaping approaching stormy skies.

Super thankful I run into glimmers a whole lot more often than triggers.

Triggers shoot a glimmer bullet. Fleeting and flashy.

The glimmers I like are when I can see how my situation will fructify.

glimmer #2 definition: A faint manifestation or indication; a trace: a glimmer of understanding.

the light at the end of a tunnel
the only way out is through
a sight of the completion
A faint manifestation.
I had one yesterday
while listening
to Aja Monet’s
poem
Every Media Minute

I am on the right road. I thought.
I knew it to be true.
without kerfuffle it appeared
now that is a glimmer

My confidence and cowering a sine wave.
I don’t mean to imply a regularity
it’s more like an ocean wave.
Sometimes tempestuous, sometimes glass,
long period, short period.
The point is
Yes
and
No

get the fear, get it gone,
rise up to meet yourself
